Atlantic Navigation, one of my new Stock Picks, has announced that it will acquire two new vessels for US$28.7mn.
CEFC International reported its Q3-2013 results which showed a loss of RMB0.46mn.
Midas reported a strong set of Q3-2013 results with net profit of RMB16.8mn compared to a loss of RMB6.5mn in the same quarter in 2012.

Blumont has just announced its Q3-2013 results which show a much healthier financial position than the company is currently in. In that period, revenue was S$1.26mn and net profit was S$33.8mn which included an "others gain" of S$40.9mn. This gain comprises a realised gain of S$1.38mn and a fair value gain of S$38.9mn.

On the 16 October 2013, Midas announced that it had won International and PRC Metrro contracts worth RMB221.8mn. The contract comprises a Euro 17.7mn contract for its subsidiary and a RMB75.9mn PRC Mettro contract to the Group’s 32.5% owned joint-venture company, Nanjing SR Puzhen Rail Transport Co., Ltd (“NPRT”).
The SGX announced yesterday that it has ended the designation of Blumont, Asiasons Capital and Lion Gold. It added that it would continue to monitor the trading of the three stocks and advised investors to trade with caution.
