Who We Are

Tayrona Financial Pte Ltd was first known as NetResearch Asia when it was founded in July 1999 by a team of highly experienced equity analysts and fund managers who believed that there was an important role for independent equity research. It was the first independent equity research company licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, offering independent institutional-quality equity research written for sophisticated investors. Our website was launched in Jan 2000, offering equity research covering companies listed on the Singapore Exchange Limited.

As our market presence and credibility grew, we widened our business from equity and unit trust advisory services to include Corporate Finance and Advisory services for companies. The name was changed in 2002 to NRA Capital to reflect the expansion in services. We are licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore to offer Corporate Finance and Advisory services including independent financial advisory on mergers and acquisitions, lead managing initial public

offerings, management of equity placements and rights issues, and other general advisory services, such as investor relations and corporate restructuring. We do not however provide underwriting services.

In 2016, we formed a partnership with Independent Investment Research, which produces independent research reports focused mainly on stocks in Australia. This partnership facilitates the mutual dissemination of both companies’ research reports to their respective markets.

In 2018, the group underwent some internal corporate restructuring and the name was changed to Tayrona Financial Pte Ltd. We are now well positioned to offer our clients a strategic partnership to execute their plans and achieve new milestones.
